The Aglianico grape delivers wonderful wines on the volcanic soil of Taurasi. Deep, dark reds, full of aromas and with a potent frame. Antonio Caggiano's "Vigna Macchia dei Goti" is savoury, full of classic scents of plum, cherry and red fruit, tobacco and leather. The almost tangible presence of the soil adds saltiness and mineral notes, unique to these lands! A great expression of this territory, that deserves to be aged for long years to smoothen the edge of the tannins, blend the toasty notes of the oak barrels into the powerful structure and deliver its unique taste.
