Another very well balanced, well- rounded and potent Barbera d'Asti from specialist Scagliola Sansì.
Long fermentation (20- 25 days) and ageing in large oak barrels bring out both, the power and elegance of the Barbera grape. A serious, always pleasant, strong and complex wine, deep red in colour tending to purple, and with age, brick, it is suitable for moderate ageing and goes best with hearty food.
Typical for Barbera: tons of berries and red fruit, sometime jammy, a bit smoky, but always straight forward and direct.
