There is so much joy in this wine, such elegant lightness, such depth! The name Spanna was associated with undrinkable hard, tannic and acid wines until we discovered this feast of fragrant red berries, this wealth of joyful aroma, the depth of each sip that seems to never fade away. The body is athletic, while rather unsuspiciously so, like the one of a marathon runner: lean, resilient, long lasting. A bit rustic to the palate, but pure pleasure, pure joy!
