The beautiful hills of Southern Tuscany are ideal for the local Sangiovese grapes. They deliver wines with structure, elegance, and an ample fan of fresh and spicy red fruit aromas. This wine is as smooth as these hills and as warm as its summers. Easy to like and fall for!

In his Paraggio Selezione, Marco Bevenuti combined the smooth and fruity Alicante (aka Grenache) with the more tannic Sangiovese from his organic vineyards in a 10% - 90% proportion. After resting on the skins for spontaneous fermentation in steel vats for 20 days, it is aged in large oak barrels for 3 years, and then bottled to rest for an additional period of at least 2 years.

This wine is incredibly warm, rich in flavours and aroma, ranging from cherry to dark red plum, and contains the great spices typical for the Sangiovese grape. It deserves further ageing to reveal its full potential.
