Daniele Dabbene is a passionate young winemaker, who selects the very best rows of his family's estate in Santa Vittoria d'Alba, part of the Roero range of hills. He then fiercely selects the very best bunches only, with the clear aim to make very high-end wines. He harvests by hand and crushes the bunches softly, then allows for time during fermentation.

A lover of small oak barriques, like many young people who like deep, bold oak and vanilla notes, he leaves his wines to age in barriques for 18 months and then in the bottle. A deep, monumental, potent, modern Nebbiolo - a feast for all those who like intensity, virility, power, well rounded balance of marmalade, fig and red fruit jam, without disdaining the complexity and elegance that only Nebbiolo can offer, building on soft, silky tannins and supported by the right level of acidity to remain light, almost playful in its prolonged, savoury finish.
