Malvasia Nera 2016 Toscana Rosso Podere Casaccia
In the hills of Chianti, this grape was hardly ever used for winemaking on its own. It was used to add spice and pepper scents to the more bold Sangiovese blends.
This fact alone makes this incredibly spicy wine exceptional. On its own, it offers a rather full body, lots of aromas and spices on a pleasantly dark red robe. It is a certified biodynamic wine that "opens up" and reveals itself with oxidation. Leave the bottle open over night and longer for it to reveal its full potential!
