Gli Orti 2017 Riesling Oltrepò Pavese Frecciarossa
The Riesling grape was introduced at Frecciarossa by its founder, Giorgio Odero, over 100 years ago and proved to thrive in these lands. Half of the grapes are left to macerate on the skins for 48 hours at low temperature and is then pressed softly. The other half is directly pressed softly. The oucome is a very well balanced wine, in which freshness and juiciness combine with a good body.
It delivers a mineral, complex white wine full of herbal and tropical aromas, a hint of apricot and dry almonds to the nose and in the palate. It is suitable for ageing over 10 years.
