Natural high quality sparkling wines?

The Del Bono brothers of Monticelli Brusati, on the eastern edge of the famous Franciacorta region in Lombardy are doing just that: natural agriculture on very steep hills, in the best locations, selection of the best bunches, soft pressing, only native yeasts, only must of the same grapes as "sirop de tirage", 60 months resting on the lees. The outcome is spectacular!

Casa Caterina's Cuvèe 60 is the signature wine of the Del Bono brothers. Made from Chardonnay grapes grown biodynamically, spontaneous fermentation in steel vats with indigenous yeasts, refermentation with only must from the same wine, no dosage and no addition of sulphur dioxide. The long ageing on the yeasts (60 months) makes the wine unique, with slight oxidative hints that enrich and add complexity.

It's structure and intensity are rarely found in Metodo Classico wines, and even in Champagne, many envy would it. The persistence in the mouth is almost infinite. A wine without compromise, to be enjoyed in every sip. Superb and Natural!

14200 numbered bottles were made in 2017.
