Basilicata IGT Bianco 2020 "Leuconoe" Madonna delle Grazie
The great Aglianico grape - one of the major grapes of the Italian South, which is gaining in reputation as the "Nebbiolo of the South" - delivers this amazing, rare, if not unique white wine! The minerals of the volcanic soil of the extinguished Vulture volcano, the body of Aglianico, and the finesse of its rich bouquet unite in this always pleasant, fresh and rounded white wine. To the nose, freshly cut grass, green pear, flint stone aromas, in the mouth, it lasts lomg revealing flint stone, crushed rocks, salty sands and a finish lasting long on citrus fruit and Mediterranena herbs. Supported by the right level of acidity, to remain fresh and enjoyable also over time.
If you are a lover of white wines from red grapes - "blanc de noirs" - this is worth your while!
