Alta Langa VSQ Rosato 2017 "Camilo" Scagliola Sansì
Camilo Alta Langa is a wonderfully pale onion skin coloured blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
After soft pressing the grapes the must is left for 24 hours before starting cold fermentation in steel vats. Once the first fermentation is completed, the wine is left to rest in acacia barrels for a year, which leaves a unique flavour to the wine. Then it is bottled and left on the lees for at least 30 months before degorgement.
This sparkling is soft, with a solid medium body and tons of flavours, ranging from dried fruit, fresh spices to freshly baked bread.
It is the perfect companion to an entire, light meal. Start with it as an aperitif and follow up on it while you enjoy seafood and fish or white meet dishes - it will not disappoint you ever.
The overall production of this splendid Alta Langa Spumante is limited to 3000 bottles per year!
