Vinland.wine is a selection I made for my private cellar. Our objective is AUTHENTICITY AND QUALITY, not QUANTITY. I like to select wines with body and structure (tannins), fruit and minerality.
what kind of wines do we NOT find on Vinland?
On Vinland you WILL NOT find the great names and labels of the mainstream market, iconic brands that have made history or more commercial mass produced wines. Instead, rather than offering hundreds of wines, vinland.wine specialises on small productions with great appeal.

I look wines where these main traits clearly show:
body (tannins stemming from the grape),
minerality (reflecting the composition of the soil)
and aromatic complexity are in a harmonious balance and thus express the lands they come from.

You order online - up to a certain limit only Italian tax applies. Thus the price you see is what you pay. This price does not include delivery services, which you can find upon checkout.

Unfortunately, there is not a “onse answer that fits all”. Every non-EU country has different rules. Normally, the customer does not pay VAT (22%) in Italy, but mut pay import duties. Those duties vary from country to country, and in federal countries, from State to State. Duties are handled directly by the courier service. normally, you purchase the wine on Vinland and also pay for shipment up front. Once the product idelivered to your destination country, the courier service contact the customer demanding proff of pay of duties. Thereafter the delivery occurs.

We aim to be socially and environmentally sustainable, which is also why we only source Italian wines, mainly from the great Piemonte region close to us, made by traditional family estates or young vintners “start ups”. One of the reasons why we preferentially source wines from family estates is that they intend to leave it of the next generations, unlike corporations, that aim to deliver financial growth by the end of each quarter.

Our products are all personally tested. We vouch for them.
If you suffer breakage upon delivery, please contatc us and send pictures. Undisputed breakages that are due to the delivery service and/ or packaging flaws will be refunded, or the product will be replaced.
If a bottle is corked, we ask you to contact us, send us the cork and upon receipt we will replace the corked bottle.
